Monte Rosso Round Tour

Start from Stresa and follow SS 33 towards Verbania to reach Pallanza’s lakefront; here take via C. Ferrini, via dei Partigiani and proceed towards the old Church Madonna di Campagna.

After few meters take, on the left, via Monterosso (directions to Azienda Agrituristica Monte Rosso). Proceed uphill with a tight path and cross an amazing beech wood to reach the peak of Monte Rosso.

Then follow the off-road path until Cavandone, here take another path that will lead you to the Church of Madonna del Buon Rimedio, stop here to admire the incredible landscape and the view above Pallanza and lake Maggiore.

Cross the wood until the houses of Pallanza. From here proceed on asphalted road, to reach, first, the lakeside, and then Stresa (following SS 33).
