Lagoni Park

This trail, that develops mostly on asphalted roads, leads to the hills of Mercurago Lakes Park, among woods and pastures dedicated to horse breeding. In the area of Mercurago have been found some traces of settlements dating back to the Bronze Age and also Iron Age Necropolis, Domus and Roman Necropolis.

From Stresa proceed to Someraro and Levo and after 6 km take the road which goes into the woods to reach Vezzo. At Campo Sportivo turn right into Don Bosco street and continue for about 3 km.

Then cycle back on the main road and continue along Alto Vergante street passing through the villages of Carpugnino, Graglia Piana, Brovello, Massino Visconti, Tapigliano, Pisano and Ghevio. From Ghevio, continue uphill for about 2 km towards Montrigiasco and turn left at the roundabout near the motorway.

Then proceed on Volta street and on Arona street. 
To reach the Natural Park Lagoni turn right on Niccolini street. Inside the park there are several paths where you can cycle.

To return to Stresa follow directions to Cascina Bergamino and cycle on the main road along the lake, SS 33.
