Centovalli Tour

From Stresa cycle along the main lake front road to Feriolo. Turn right at Isolino Campsite and take the cycle path along Toce River, that develops in the Natural Protected Area of Fondotoce.
Continue on this cycle path until Mergozzo, here proceed on secondary roads to Domodossola, passing through the villages of Ossola Valley: Cuzzago, Premosello Chiovenda, Vogogna (known for its beautiful Viscount Castle) and Piedimulera.  

In Domodossola follow directions to Masera and Vigezzo Valley, here the Centovalli route reaches the maximum slope.
Then continue to Malesco, Centovalli and the small village of Re, known for its impressive sanctuary.

From Re a long descent takes you down to the Swiss part of Lake Maggiore, in Locarno. 

To return to Stresa you could decide to cycle for about 50 km on the main road along the lake or to take a ferry.
