Cannobio-S.Agata-Traffiume

An amazing trail along the cycle path of Cannobino river, among the small streets of Cannobio Village and Sant’Agata, a wonderful panoramic point on lake Maggiore. Cannobio is recognized by FIAB, Federazione Italiana Amici della Bicicletta, as Cycling Village, for its 12 KM of cycle paths.

Start from Lido and proceed on the cycle path along Cannobino River until Ballerino Bridge, here turn right and continue along the cycle path. In Casali Lignago Area proceed towards Sant’Agata, stop here to admire incredible landscapes and panoramas.

Go down towards Traffiume and Cannobino river, at Traffiume bridge take the cycle path to reach Orrido di Sant’Anna. Proceed on Sant’Anna street (small part on asphalted road) and then, at Acqua Carlina Fount, take the cycle path to reach Cannobio’s centre and the lakeside.

Alternatively, you can ride only along Cannobio’s cycle paths and avoid the uphill trail to Sant’Agata.
